Features:


  • It uses only low ultrasonic vibrational energy for atomization.
  • The liquid can be dispensed to the atomizing probe (nozzle) by either gravity feed or a small low pressure metering pump, and atomized continuously or intermittently.
  • The amount of material atomized can be as little as 0.15 ml. per second.
  • Because the droplets typically drift downward, and air disturbances kept to a minimum.
  • Wide variety of coatings, chemicals, lubricants and particulate suspensions can readily be atomized.
  • However factors such as viscosity, mixibility and solid content deserve consideration.
  • Many different solutions can be made into a mist without the use air pressure, low viscosity liquids are pumped through the centre of the nozzle and is atomized.


Other details:


  • In the centre of the probe are piezo ceramics which convert the electrical la signal to mechanical vibration.
  • The vibration is amplified by the drop that forms the tip of the probe, and is reflected back towards the ceramics, mixes with outgoing waves, creating standing waves.
  • These standing waves causes a pumping action that sucks liquid towards the centre of the probe.
  • Compared with conventional pressurized nozzles, the aperture is relatively large, and particularly uncloggable.
  • For optimum atomization, the viscosity should be below 50 cps. and the solid concentration kept below 30%.
  • Because the atomization process depends on setting a liquid film into motion, typically the more viscous the liquid the more difficult application.
  • The atomization of liquids containing long-chained polymer molecule is problematic, even in dilute form due to the high cohesive nature of the material.
  • The low transport velocity of the liquid through the probe permits even abrasive slurries to be processed with negligible erosion of the passageway.
  • Compared with the conventional pressurized nozzles, the aperture is relatively large and practically uncloggable.
  • Droplets size is Primarily a function of frequency, and the higher the frequency, the smaller the drop size.
  • The medium drop size at 20 KHz is 90 microns, and 45 microns at 40 KHz.

The principle of the ultrasonic cleaning process is as follows:

  • Piezo electric transducers are attached to the cleaning tank.
  • They generate ultrasound waves that vibrate the cleaning fluid at very high velocity, creating a process called cavitation.
  • Millions of tiny bubbles implode within the solution and penetrate into every orifice of the item being cleaned, removing dirt and grime within seconds.
  • Our in-built chiller unit when set to a desired temperature from 5-20 deg. Cent. can keep the sample cool.
  • Ultrasonic Generator will generate heat during the process of cleaning.
  • To control the heat a Chiller System is provided from outside the Bath.
  • The chiller provided in the Ultrasonic Cleaner Regulates the temperature and keep the machine in good condition for a long functional life.
